Argentina 1998-2006: ¿Recuperación económica con convergencia o reproducción de la heterogeneidad estructural con mayores tasas de empleo?
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper is discussed the behavior that has presented the social structure of work between 1998 and 2006, seeking thereby to contribute to the debate on the change of the regime of employment operated in the post-devaluation. With this objective, it examines the uneven performance recorded by the different segments of the labor market, as well as the invariability that showed the sectorial composition of the workforce. In this context, it makes a comparative assessment of the impact generated on the gaps in labor incomes by the structural heterogeneity in the labor market. For such an effect, there are proved different models of regression applied to the logarithm of the hourly remunerations of every year. The study compares four key moments of the economic process argentine: 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2006.
