Cambios en el mercado de trabajo del Gran La Plata en el contexto del nuevo patrón de crecimiento. Perí­odo 2003-2012

Abstract

The article has like objective to analyze the transformations produced in the market of work of Great la Plata as of year 2003, when a new pattern of economic growth restores itself in the country. In the first place, a characterization of the economic changes at national level and its effects is made on the main indicators of the market of urban work, identifying one first stage of positive development of labor situation (growth of the use and reduction of leisure, particularly) and one second, to start off of year 2008, deceleration of these tendencies. Secondly, the analysis of the happened thing is made in the labor market of Great La Plata, where also indicated moments visualize both. The analysis is distinguished by means of the characterization of the occupied population and unemployed person, the study of the process of labor precariousness in the region and the levels of remunerations to the work. Finally, the developed labor conflicts in Great La Plata are analyzed during year 2012. Two main sources of information were used: the Permanent Survey of Homes, by means of own processing of Bases de Microdata, and the registry made by the Observatory of Labor Conflicts of Great la Plata.
