Abstract
This article is a case study about the perceptions of the students of local high schools General Pueyrredón about high school completion as a body for better access to the labor market and higher education. With a sample of 763 cases distributed in 11 schools across the city, using a survey with opinion scales, the study uses a linear regression technique that accounts for the prevalence of an utilitarian approach based on inputs such transfer cognitive and/or skills such as predominantly positive assessment, while this rating is higher the more vulnerable is the neighborhood in which the school is inserted.
